Everton Hills Medical Centre provides a range of healthcare services that includes men’s health, women’s health, children’s health, immunisations, treatment of minor trauma, minor surgery, cryotherapy, electrocardiography (ECG), respiratory function analysis, skin checks, advice on travel medicine and medical assessments for licences, employment and insurance.
The Practice at present offers Face to Face consultations at the Practice, Carpark consultations if required, and Phone consultations for your safety during the COVID-19 period.
To keep everyone safe we ask that you do not come down to the practice if you have any cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, or respiratory issues without phoning and advising us first. We also ask that before entering the practice to use the supplied hand wash outside and then to fill out the COVID declaration form on the desk outside and to bring this in with you to your appt. Masks are preferred but not mandatory at this stage.

Missed Appointment Fee: We reserve the right to charge a nonattendance fee of $39.00 minimum.
It is important to know that all appointments are precious, so if an appointment is missed or we are not given at least 2 hours’ notice we reserve the right to charge a nonattendance fee of $38.00 minimum.

Your doctor is accessible by telephone for some matters. However, if it is not convenient at the time, your call will be returned as soon as possible. In some instances, the receptionist/practice manager may be able to assist you.
Our Results Policy: Patients are required to make a follow-up appointment for their test results. Only under “special circumstances” will results be discussed over the phone, one reason being it is very hard to identify a person over the phone.
Home visits are a service provided to those patients too sick or infirm to attend the surgery, and for emergencies. Please discuss your needs with reception or medical staff.
A reminder system is offered to patients at this practice. Please let the doctors or receptionists know if you do not want to be included in any reminders for preventative health issues.
It is preferable that a referral is incorporated into the context of a formal consultation. In the event that a doctor agrees to provide a referral without a consultation, a fee of $8 ($5 concession cardholders) will be charged on collection of the referral.
Immunisation is an important part of your child’s health care. Please check with your doctor as to which immunisations are due as the Government Health Schedule changes from time to time. Children are bulk billed for these consultations.
We ask that you make sure you collect all your required prescriptions at your consultations. The doctor needs to regularly monitor your health before prescribing medications. Many medications also require frequent blood pressure or weight checks also.
Travel vaccinations are available through our practice. Our doctors can advise you regarding safe travel.
We now have 2 registered Nurses on site 5 days a week.
